I wish I could blog more but wifi and service at camp are terrible. Here is what the season is looking like so far.
First off, so much easier then my first year! Less confused, less frustrated, physically, and mentally stronger. It's still hard, bloody hard! I feel absolutely burnt out at the end of every day. Yet, feel ready to pound thousands of trees in the ground the next day.
Covid has affected camp life somewhat. We have to wear masks in the truck, stand two meters apart from each other, and wash are hands a lot! However, when I'm on the block planting it's like nothing is going on in the world at all. It's just me, the land, and the trees.
I'm back on the same crew as last year! Everyone on the crew is so awesome! I feel super blessed to be out here with these awesome people, in nature, and making a lot of money. Its painful, hard, but totally worth it!
